We’ve got some codes if you want to get into the final days of the APB closed beta. But there’s a limited number of them! So it’s going to be a race to see who can email in to here with a good reason as to why you should get a code. Don’t change the subject line. I’ll update when they’re all gone.
If you want to keep up with the progress of the free-to-play APB remake, then you could do no worse than to keep your eye on this blog. Go! Go! GoooOOOoooo!

I always have the initial reaction of ‘Hey, yeah! I’d quite like to give this a go!’ but then I know that even if I did get a code I’d probably play for an hour then get bored and never return to it. So if I did get a code, I’d feel guilty because there’d be someone out there who actually enjoys MMOs who would’ve put in 4 hours a day until the beta has closed.
I am happy to sacrifice my happiness of ‘I’ll give this a spin for an hour’ for someone else’s ‘OHMYGODICANTSTOPPLAYINGTHISAWESOMEGAME’.
But please let me know if it’s any good.

Do note that getting a code won’t give you immediate access to the beta, it does guarantee you access to the beta when they accept the next wave of closed beta applicants.
Hopefully it will be in the next week or so, after they have brought the EU data centre online.

While obviously the beta is NDA’d, I believe I can confirm that they have been tweaked. Though due to latency (I’m EU playing on US) and not enough playing time I couldn’t confirm whether the improvements are enough even if I wasn’t NDA’d
Of course, the fact that they’re treating it as if it is an early beta at this point may be all you need to know.

Hell I’d love a beta key for this, was involved in the beta from the start of the first APB (the now deceased one) and enjoyed it very much. Heres the thing though, I don’t want to spoil the fun for myself by going into another f2p title beta, I done this too many times before.

But in all seriousness (without getting into details), I really like what they’ve done to it so far. Can’t wait for Open Beta and the EU server to go up so I can get my friends back in to re-form our infamous TF2-themed crim-crew that we ran as back in RTW days.
And awesome as they are, the devs are saying that we won’t even need to re-do the customizations, they will be given back to us!
