It’s so brilliant I found a bag of milky ways.
29/03/2011 at 12:14 Spatula says:
remind me what the bag of milky ways thing means again?
29/03/2011 at 13:15 VelvetFistIronGlove says:
It means one had an unfortunate accidental efflux of excrement into one’s clothing, instigated by an extemporaneous frightening event. The term originated here. It has subsequently been misused by certain people suggesting an efflux of a different bodily product due to excitement, which is transparently a corruption of the true meaning.
29/03/2011 at 13:45 DeathHamsterDude says:
Okay, look. Valve. I know someone out of your lovely company MUST read RPS. So, you have seen this, you must be excited, we’re excited too (look! Some of our members even pooped a little!).
MAKE THIS GAME! PLEASE! Even as a little game in the next Orange Box! Anything! Please!
29/03/2011 at 14:08 SuperNashwanPower says:
I mini-pooped
29/03/2011 at 23:53 Trousers says:
I’m holding one in, which is much more exciting

Hah that’s magnificent

Bonus point multiplier for a Tommy Wiseau + Deal With It combo!
29/03/2011 at 11:35 Ayam says:
I didn’t get the Tommy Wiseau reference in there, NICE! Valve, make THIS happen. Left 4 Dead 3, we know which direction you’re headed now!

What now? Where does humanity go from this?
29/03/2011 at 10:59 Mister_Inveigler says:
Easy, Humanity makes this game and enters a new age of awesomeness and red hats.
29/03/2011 at 10:48 Peter Radiator Full Pig says:
You thoight he was gone?
He was just GNOME!
29/03/2011 at 10:54 KingKrapp says:
That’s just amazing. If it wasn’t so funny I’d make a snide remark about some of the gmod video tropes (and I recognise the fire from a collection of stock clips) but the overall brilliance more than makes up for the details. Great camera, too. I guess it goes to show how far talent can take you with limited resources.
29/03/2011 at 10:55 Callum says:
That was amazing and just what I needed to put a smile on my face this morning. Thank you. Also especially relevant since I finished that damn gnome achievement just a few months ago.
29/03/2011 at 10:59 terry says:
I would unironically buy this.
29/03/2011 at 19:16 Consumatopia says:
As would I.
But I also wish there was kind of Ironic Currency that I could use for insincere purchases.
29/03/2011 at 11:06 Lost Trousers says:
I was just about to go find this again in my sub box when I saw it on my rss feed.
Thank you, RPS.
29/03/2011 at 11:24 MadTinkerer says:
Just when you thought you had seen everything that could be done in Garry’s Mod, someone comes along and ups the ante… again. Kudos for:
1) Avoiding the standard random GMod cliches, like the tired old funny/creepy-faced GMan/Breen gag.
2) Avoiding most other Valve characters altogether(!) Zombies, yes, but none from the Half Life universe or L4D.
3) The Duty Calls quote. And all the other references too, of course, but that one in particular.
4) The music from the Scott Pilgrim teaser trailer. Quite appropriate for a mashup like this.
Brilliant. :)
29/03/2011 at 21:45 Pattom says:
I’m pretty sure they also used that music in the last Duke Nukem Forever trailer, which is probably where they got the idea from. Definitely a great song, though. And I’ll have to finally play Duty Calls, because the quote went right past me.
29/03/2011 at 11:26 cytokindness says:
Wait, was that the gnome from Research and Development for a few seconds there? The one that goes disco and explodes?
29/03/2011 at 11:28 bagga says:
Came for the leftist critique of state and corporate power hierarchies in video games, stayed for the freaking gnome with machine guns.
29/03/2011 at 11:30 Daz says:
let me wipe the tears from my eyes so I can type to you guys how awesome that was!

WE NEED THIS
29/03/2011 at 11:45 Wulf says:
I think Gnome Chompski is a pretty cool guy. He wears 8-bit shades, and is not afraid of anything.
Someone had to, I’ll be that guy.
Yes, this was fairly entertaining.

Get your internets humor straight! Don’t bastardize the memes! I mean, what separates us from the animals if not their proper usage?

29/03/2011 at 13:13 Urael says:
I don’t know exactly what separates us from animals, Pemptus, but I do know that over-adherence to unfunny internet meme transmission is what separates the gibbering freaks from us normal people.
29/03/2011 at 13:42 DeathHamsterDude says:
Yeah, but the meme is only even a little funny because of the flagrant misspellings.
I mean, could you imagine dot dot dot being funny if Axman13 had spelled everything correctly and made proper use of grammar?

29/03/2011 at 16:39 Wulf says:
Yes, yes I could. Because your reaction was very funny, and this was my plan.
I succeed!

29/03/2011 at 18:24 Dominic White says:
There’s even a dubstep version!
Edit: Found a version of the video! Comment below about Wiseau being a tool still applies:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWwVb1ddCqc&feature=player_detailpage#t=200s
There used to be a video to go with it, but Tommy Wiseau got it pulled, because he is Tommy Wiseau and therefore we mock him at every opportunity. He’s like the gift that keeps on giving.

I once knew a guy who double crossed Gnome Chompski. Gnome Chompski found out about it and beat him up so bad he ended up in a hospital on Guerro Street.

THERE IS A GOD!
Seriously, this is objective proof.
29/03/2011 at 15:56 Mr_Initials says:
This also proves that god doesn’t exist because there is no way Gnome would let anyone be more badass than him. Does this mean that Gnome Chompski is god?

“YOU’RE TEARING ME APART!” (go and watch the nostalgia critic episode, it’s one of the best)
Don’t care about the Duke but wish Gordon Freeman wasn’t missing.
This trailer looks interesting, though.
