There’s going to be more Battlefield-related showing off from EA later, I think, but they’ve already put out a fairly impressive trailer, which you can see below. It’s out October 25th, and there will be a beta in September.

Someone tell the folks at EA they’re stupid. They made this video to promote their game, then they pull down all copies of the video so no one can watch it until they say so. I guess sometimes you gotta be the boss even when it makes no sense.

They seem to be using BF3′s overall superior quality as the main pitch. The problem with that I think is that those who play (and like) CoD don’t care about quality. I’d be happy to see them beating CoD but I doubt they will.

Although I don’t believe that CoD people don’t care about quality, I tried some Blops this weekend – free on Steam – and I just think it pretty much sucks. I’m back to Crysis 2 for now, although BF3 sure looks good.
