Since I know just how much you lot love playing with cute fluffy animals, I thought I’d better point out this pet creator demo. From The Sims 3 website: “Create a wide variety of unique dogs, cats, and—for the first time ever—horses!” HORSES!? Best of all the animals?
You can download Create A Pet here. This concludes our The Sims 3 Pets coverage for today.

Can I drown them in pool by removing the ladder too?
That would be sweet.
Horses DO swim in pools, right?

23/09/2011 at 09:38 Gnoupi says:
Well you can’t do that to regular Sims since the Sims 2, so most likely not, and most likely this fact can die silently after 10 years :-]

If my horse claws up my couch again, I’m going to put it in the swimming pool and take out the ladder.
23/09/2011 at 16:52 Burning Man says:
You can do that in the Sims 3 and in fact I did it to my first sim. I put him in a swimming pool and removed the ladder. Watching him swim around bleating piteously as he got more and more tired before he finally drowned was the one of the most horrendous experiences I’ve ever had, period.

Origin is replacing EA Download Manager, not a big surprise, so.
23/09/2011 at 10:00 Juan Carlo says:
Yeah but it’s free. However, in order to get it you have to install origin. Pretty sneaky.
Not that I hate Origin, or anything. But the only way I’d ever use it is if you can activate previous retail EA games you bought on there and redownload like you can with Valve games on steam. That’d be kind of neat as I have more than a few older EA games where I still have the keys but have lost the discs (or scratched them beyond repair).
I’ve heard that this works on newer games (some of the time), but it would be a good way of EA attracting customers. They should just make their entire back catalog activate-able.

Hallowed, are, the Ori.
They didn’t make for fantastic episodes, but they were succesful at being a very creepy space-religion.
23/09/2011 at 10:59 Biscuitry says:
Why make a fuss, though? The problems with Origin and Steam have been documented at length by now. Rather than ranting, just chill and use or don’t use, whichever you feel is right.

And people bitch about Activision being the bad guys of the gaming industry…
24/09/2011 at 01:18 Shooop says:
Because Biscuitry, it matters to anyone who wants this but doesn’t want Origin. We’re not starting up the argument over why Origin sucks again, we’re just talking about how much it sucks that this game is tethered to it as well.

Oh yes, god forbid people be angry at EA for making their privacy invasion software a requirement for all their games. Why how dare they! They should be rejoicing at that their EA overlords want to look at their entire hard drive contents!
