The current Indiegames’ browser game pick is a game with a near-genius idea and decent execution. Roadeo is a two-player racing game where one person drives the car, and the other plays as the road. Yep. The car loses by coming off the road, while the road loses by crashing into the other scenery in the map. It can be played competitive or co-operatively. It’s quite the thing. Go take a look, or have a gander at the trailer below. (Try playing solo for maximum confusion.)

Nice idea. Too bad my friends would just laugh at it.

Just find some new friends – Problem solved ;o)

I hate this new trend where game companies pretend gamers have friends.

The concept behind this game is brilliant. A computer AI player really would be a nice option, though, for those of us who may or may not be illicitly trying to play the game at work.

That is one of the best game names I’ve seen in ages, and a genius concept to boot.

That looks awesome. What a great idea.

I find the name especially genius. But if it wasn’t there you guys would surely have thought of it.
Can’t wait to play with a friend!

Mind = blown.
How has this not been thought of before? Looks like great fun!

Not to be that guy, but… wouldn’t this be great on the couch with a mate?

I’m not sure you’ll have great control while spooning, but good luck.

Lack of control is what usually leads to the spooning.

Unfortunately this game has really blown it’s potential because it has no multiplayer.

It has exactly as much multi-player as two-player board games. Keep in mind it’s a browser game not a full client, and that random internet matchups have some problems.

Hmm. I want to love it, but it’s way to easy to get stuck in an impossible corner as the road just by choosing the wrong random direction around an obstacle in the middle of the screen.

Neat!
Was trying to sway my friend towards driving games by exploiting his love of fighters with the same logic behind this game. Glad I can try it out now.

That was one of the crazy(genius) ideas of the @petermolydeux account on twitter (seriously, follow that now!).
