When pestering Amanita for our preview of Botanicula, they also sent over a collection of new hi-res screenshots for the game. And they are far too beautiful not to pass onto you. So below they are, clickonable for growth. Do so, because their reduced forms don’t do them justice. I apologise for the forthcoming angst over which ones should be your desktop backgrounds.

Very pretty pictures though. I can’t wait to hover over all those pixels and make them move, like way back with their weird and foreign Samorost browser games.

See, I was getting all interested in this game, based on the screenshots alone… and then one of those screenshots had a giant spider-eye seemingly made from the stuff of nightmares.
Now I’m still interested, mind. Just… a little apprehensive, too. I don’t like giant nightmare-spiders much.

The JavaScript pop-up image viewer is still rubbish, not letting you middle-click to open in a new window in Chrome, and it doesn’t play well with the obnoxious Batman mouse-over ad either.

I can only see half of the screenshots because I view them on a laptop w/o Full HD and there’s no possibility to scroll…

I don’t see to get pop-up adverts, no mater what browser. Odd. Then again the background ad and subscribing is more than enough.
