Dishonored Devs To Speak At Eurogamer Expo

By Jim Rossignol on September 13th, 2012 at 2:00 pm.

One of the developer sessions at this year’s Eurogamer Expo (at Earls Court in London on 27th-30th of this month) will be hosted by Dishonored developers, Arkane. EG reports:

Christophe Carrier (Lead Level Designer & Audio Director) and Dinga Bakaba (Assistant Producer & Game Designer) will introduce the game at length on Friday 28th September at 5pm and at midday on Saturday 29th September in the developer sessions auditorium.

The game will also be playable at the show. Eurogamer’s Tom “Tom Bramwell” Bramwell said: “Dishonored is one of the most exciting games on the show floor at this year’s Eurogamer Expo and we’re thrilled that Arkane will be presenting a closer look at the game as part of the developer sessions schedule.” It’s nice when Tom is thrilled.

Am I the only one who constantly misreads this in my mind as ‘dish-onored’?

Good god man. These guys could be well on their way to another game by now, had they spent this much time developing.

Seriously though, its good to see evidence they are passionate about their game & their job.

“Lead Level Designer & Audio Director” at the same time ?!! wow, that’s what’s called having multiple talents.

Just curious – which company’s pet idiot decided to release Xcom and Dishonored on the same frickin day? Obviously someone had a release date first. But based on all the loving from RPS on Xcom, that’s what I’ve preordered. I will probably buy dishonored that first week if it’s All That, simply because I want to encourage more of them.

But I don’t doubt I’m in the minority. So if anybody goes, ask them why the bleeding hell they’re going head-to-head – they can’t think there’s no overlap. Thief-like and Xcom-like? same day?
