This Way And That: Giana Sisters Demo

Hello, you. Hard truth: It’s time you played some side-scrolling platforming, isn’t it? I know, I know, you keep saying you will make time for it, but you just end up running errands or doing overtime. Well that has to stop. It’s time for you and side-scrolling to remember why you love each other. Spend some time gazing into each other. Perhaps then you’ll either get married or finally realise that it’s time to move on. It’s for the best.

But look, I’m no counsellor. I’m just saying that there’s a one-level demo of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, which is just what you need to deal with your left-to-right issues. Or maybe you just need more space. I don’t know.

Haha, I tried the previous demo of Giana Sisters and it crushed my laptop’s face.
Hopefully they’ve worked out the performance issues =P

I highly recommend Unmechanical to anyone looking for a side scrolling good time. Amazing atmosphere and environments, charming robots, and satisfying, varied, and not overly difficult puzzles.

    And Pid is decent.

Both are on my wishlist. There’s such an amazing selection of platformers on the PC that it’s getting hard to keep track of them.

The pure 2D platformer (as in not a physics puzzler) renaissance can’t come soon enough. Rayman Oregon, Dundee County Returns and now Gianna Michaels show just how good they can be on modern hardware.

the usual drill… amazing art and mood and all, but too poor gameplay. Felt a “heart of darkness” gameplay style vibe. Checked it out and yeah… disapp’ed.
