Yes, yes, and thrice yes. RPS currently earns us a mere fraction of proper money, which means we’re having to run it on spare time, goodwill, and lots of help from our friends. Clearly that’s not ideal – so every penny helps us write more, longer, faster, better. Yes, it’s a little humiliating to put out our begging cap in public, but it’s all for the good of the site.

We have to emphasize that subscribing does NOT guarantee you will get free stuff, but simply goes towards helping support the site’s continued existence. We are trying to make subscribers into VIP readers. They receive free stuff whenever we are able to source it, which is pretty irregularly to be honest, but they’ve had a free game, a subscriber-exclusive compo, and access to several early beta-key giveaways so far this year.
