Why is that prepubescent boy wearing space armor, and why is he so angry looking? Is that pic below his mother?

Femshep definitely looks like a prepubescent boy. Shoulda just made a Sigourney Weaver clone.

The eyes and bottom lip, maybe?
The nose? Nope.
Hair? Maybe?

But none of that is important at this time.

Whose fucking hand is crawling along Coffey's shoulder!!!???

Also, why does Coffey have clothes on in the bath?

I'm getting a "Is that all you're packing?" vibe from her, whereas FemShep has much more of a "Drop your pants and lie down" look.

femshep should be older. 35-40 years. she is too goddamn cute to be anything else but a damsel in distress or a asari stripper.

that's not what Femshep looks like anyway, Femshep looks like the one in my saved games and every one else is wrong. (And the one in my saves is a very slightly altered version of the generic one from ME1, if I remember right. And she does look like a badass, even if she is very slightly cross eyed)

While she does look like a supermodel posing in power armor, making her an aging supermodel wouldn't solve that problem.

I dunno, aging supermodels are pretty violent and imposing, just look at Tyra Banks.

she needs to look like a veteran not like a girl who got her first job at the office.

nothing wrong with her being a supermodel...

but a supermodel who went through years of training, fighting, who got shot, burnt, kick in the face, ovaries, stabbed with rusted bladed weapons, thrown through walls and so on and on.
she must look damaged.

Yeah, this. She's supposed to be a war veteran (whichever background you choose for her). There's no reason they have to look unattractive, male or female, but they should look like they could kick your arse and have spent many years doing precisely that, with all the pain, exhaustion, and scars that entails.

Somehow I doubt Tyra Banks would keep up that 'tude after getting shot at.

Yeah. She needs to look badass, not haggard.

'Course, that goes the other way, too: She needs to look badass, not slightly miffed at the camera.

I always thought the original blonde option in that Bioware poll looked like Joffrey from Game of Thrones. So yeah, I'm definitely agreeing with the prepubescent boy call.

She was also 'remade' at the start of ME2, which is why she looks so undamaged.

I'm sure it can if it basically gives you new eyes.

FemShep (And ManShep) were almost completely destroyed at the start of ME2. It's explained their gender was unclear (In the comic) and if you look at the in-game cutscene and think about how much damage Shep suffered, it's amazing they could piece him/her together again.

Which, if anything, is even worse. With that much damage and that much reconstructive surgery, there should be even more scars and knackeredness.

I still think it is such a shame that you don't have a little blue bastard child in ME2 if you made certain decisions in ME1. I mean it is a pretty rotten eugenics program that passes up the chance to incorporate shepard: savior of the universe

Agree, my femsheps in ME1/2 were always attractive, but never something you'd see in a Guess™ advert. Sort of a Lucy Lawless function before form, cute but no mistaking she means business.

There may be a small chance that somehow this fShep's in-game appearance wouldn't result in a too much cringe-worthy disparity between her looks, voice and actions. It just might work, I think, although there's not much hope for that. Still, one cannot but wonder what Bioware were thinking.

(Rii, you're my gynophilic hero! That sounds a bit weird, but I mean it in the best sense possible.)

Despite being basically reconstructed? The wobbly plot device with the facial scarring was that "Good Shep" encourages regrowth and healing, whereas "Bad Shep" doesn't, hence the more robotic and evil appearance, but it was like that because Shep was prematurely put into action at the start of ME2. He/She didn't have as much time to recover as they needed.

The medical technology in the ME universe is able to remove scars (You know, that massive Med-Bay upgrade?), so why you find it "worse" is beyond me.

A "world-weary look in [one's] eyes" is talking about the set of a person's expression, how they carry themselves, basically the non-verbal cues they put forward.

You... you knew that, right? I just stepped on a joke, right?

One of the things I liked the most about female Shepard was that the voice acting actually made her sound like an adult, so it feels like a bit of a shame that they'd go with a character design looking like someone in their teens or early twenties. Especially strange considering the default male Shepard at least looks like he's well into his thirties.

Not that it will affect me at all since my custom Shepard looks nothing like that.
