Useful Tip for Dropbox Users

Most PBEM games use Dropbox to share turns. This method is not 100% efficient since it requires the players to copy/paste their turns from the Dropbox folder into the game's save folder back and forth.

There's a nice little add-on to Dropbox which allows you to share a folder outside the original one Dropbox designated on your computer, so you can now sync the game's save folder instead.

I have been doing this for a while with minecraft, but using an explorer add on.

Don't keep dropbox running while you play because it will try and update every little change. Especially bad with games with granular saving like minecraft.

There are various ways (http://wiki.dropbox.com/TipsAndTricks/SyncOtherFolders) of doing this, I've been using mklink on Windows and ln on Linux to keep various files/folders sync'd via Dropbox.
