Hey

So seeing the GTA sale on steam got me wanting to play GTA London again, any ideas how I can get this game and get it working with windows 7? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I don't think GTA: London was developed by Rockstar, so there as probably some weird rights stuff keeping it from appearing with the others. It does seem to be available in this (http://www.amazon.com/Grand-Theft-Classics-Collection-London-Pc/dp/B0007LA9C6/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1319203599&sr=1-2) pack though, or you can find an original copy for real cheap. The expansion for it is still freeware, and available here (http://www.rockstargames.com/gtalondon/).

That's a mission pack. It says on the download page that you need London '69 to play it.

That's London 1961.

My launch copy of London 1969 has the Rockstar logo on it so while it was still made by DMA, then-new Rockstar published it.

(and for god's sake, DON'T install that London 1961 mission pack. It's one of the most infuriating things you'll ever play)

If you can't get it running in W7, there's also a Playstation version. Interestingly, it was released as a mission pack on console, too, rather than a standalone game. You had to switch the disks out a couple of times every time you wanted to play. No wonder it never took off.
