Battlefield 3 Graphical Bug

I've been getting this strange bug while playing BF3 multiplayer in 64 person matches. After a while parts of the screen start to flicker and also black and grey cones with the tip in my crosshair appear.

My rig: Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.5 GHz, 8 GB RAM DDR3, GTX 560Ti 1 GB GDDR5, 1 TB HDD. Yes, I've got the latest nVidia drivers. I am no fool.

Have you tried lowering graphical settings - just to see if it resolves the issue.

I've heard people getting strange glitches on Ultra, which were resolved by lowering things to High.

Graphical artefacts, can be caused by overheating. Check temps whilst playing possibly?

CPUID HWMonitor its a great piece of free software to ceck the temps! And i agree with Forceflow, try and lower the graphs settings a little bit to see what happens! Hope it helps!
