Steam key duplicate error.

key for portal 2 comes up as a duplicate, refuses to get added to steam, have a complain open with them, wondered if there were any tips from people who have delt with this before.

This should be a new key, was perchased from the Game websight, packet was sealed when arived ect.

Pretty much there's nothing you can do apart from contact Steam - standard procedure in cases like this is for them to ask for a picture of the disc and receipt, and once you give them that they'll add a copy to your account. It's a bit shit but nothing particularly painful.

You haven't mentioned where you purchased it from, are you sure the site is legit?
