having some real difficulties with being outdoors in Skyrim, during the day the sky flickers violently white and is giving me a headache. Any idea what could be causing this? specs below, no idea what's relevant so I've copy pasted.

Firstly it's good to see you've named your computer after Britain's leading news reader. Secondly have you updated your drivers recently? I think some of the older ones do have texture flickering issues.

I have similair problem, only not with skies but with floors and walls( it's like if I look at the floor from one points its a dirt floor and when I move it becomes a stone floor and then back and forth, very annoying), sometimes people and objects become partly-invisible. I updated drivers recently and I have an ATI GPU, unlike OP.

Glad to help Tom.

The temporary fix for this is to turn off AA and AF in the game and force maximum AA and AF in catalyst control centre seemingly. I'm sure they'll be a driver update/patch shortly to sort it.
