$1.59/whatever that is in pounds sterling
I'm sure the realism dorks will hate the way it looks, but it's awesome to me. It's samurai movie blood so it's fitting; Shogun 2 has never striven for a realistic look.
Also some are pissed that they're releasing a graphics feature for money, but A) it's so cheap, and B) there would apparently be issues with ratings boards if the DLC was officially part of the game (the DLC isn't even available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and this seems like a loophole.
Also you can get the Hattori clan now.

I was wondering why they sold this game for 40 euros, it's because all the DLC.
I never got in to it because I hated the waiting for the AI to take it's turn.

Never played Total War games before ?
Otherwise this blood pack looks like something from Tarantino movies, not my cup of tea.

Actually it looks like something from samurai movies, which is the point.

I realize it's cheap, but I can agree with the people complaining about this being a paid feature. Gore filters are pretty common in game option menus. But I'm weak, and I'll be buying this anyways :). I just wish it included some content, or was even part of the other DLC released today.

Yeah, I'm waiting for the GOTY edition myself.

While we're on the subject, I always wondered what the deal was with the blood fountains.

"This may stem from traditional Kabuki theater, where the "blood" was really a long red silk scarf thrown in a great big arc."
Interesting.
