Firs of you, yes you, are awesome; thank you for reading my thread.

so whats the problem? Well I just bought what I thought was a legitimate BF3 key from gameagency.co.uk. However i have received no contact from them and the order I placed has now dispersed from my order history on there site. I am really unsure what to make of this. I have contacted the site support email but being Sunday night i have had no response. Have you had any dealings with this site, is it legitimate? OR have i been massive fool.

Thanks for reading,

-D

Have you tried contacting support on that site?

How did you pay? Paypal? You can get your money back with paypal if they ripped you off.

But first; try to get in touch with someone on that site.

I sent them an email but i don't expect a response until Monday. I paid via Google checkout.

See how it goes. I get the impression they basically send you a code from a retail box, but turnaround isn't instant (you get what you pay for). if you don't hear from them within 24 hours then consider cancelling your payment.

Yeah, it's definitely not what I'd call "legit".

The address listed takes you to this tower block (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=18+Anglia+House++66+Salmon+Lane++London++E1 4+7PW&hl=en&ll=51.514064,-0.036424&spn=0.005094,0.009645&sll=51.514326,-0.038818&layer=c&cbp=13,188.07,,0,-24.24&cbll=51.514061,-0.036241&hnear=18+Salmon+Ln,+London+E14+7LZ,+United+Kingdom&t=m&z=17&vpsrc=0&panoid=IgdcowKmqv-Z60IaMR0SxQ); I can't find any evidence that this is actually a registered company, it seems to be just some bloke selling dubious CD keys.

I'd dispute the payment right away, even if you do end-up with a key there's no guarantee it'll continue to work, EA could cancel it at any time if they figure out it's dodgy.

Update: Still no response this morning. I have also been locked out of my email account i used to buy. Not a good sign, I'm recovering it now but that may be tricky. One the up side my account hasn't been debited yet.

Update Update: I have just revived and email from game agency saying my payment has gone through and been sent a photo of a BF3 CD with the key showing......yer. Still locked out of my email account.

Wait, did you get locked out of your email address, or the account on the website? They usually send a scan to the email address registered to the account. I pre-ordered Battlefield 3 from a similar website, and although it got delayed a few days, they sent me a scan of the CD key to my email address shortly before (3 hours) the release of the full game.
