So I'm a big fan of any kind of VS game, name it Street Fighter or DOTA or DoW2 or FPS or boardgame or...WHATEVER.

I have found a lot of people talking about a iOS game that everyone is playing now (fuck iOS devs) and I have found the idea pretty much what I have been looking for to play since *forever* and I could not get from Archon or Kongregate vs games. It is a army-building, turn based, "chesslike" VS game and I cannot think/remember of other games the same kind other than Scrolls and that boardgame Summoner Wars.

Do any of you guys know anything similar?

Considering it's made by former Age of Empires devs, it's a fucking crime this game doesn't seem to be coming to PC. Every time I see an article about it, I think "oh, another iOS game I don't care about in the slightest" and click past it.

I don't understand iOS developers or XBox Live Arcade developers. They'd get like 50x the sales if they made it for PC and sold it on Steam but no?

Every day in /r/IndieGaming:

PR: "HAI GUISE I JUST MADE A NEW AUSUM GAME CHECK VID. Coming for iPad only BTW."
Me: "Fuck you."

Well Steam has pretty high standards to get in, and if you go to other platforms your visibility is quite low. Instead they decide to go to a oversaturated HUGE signal/noise ratio market, which I still don't think as a good idea.

That's a pretty good summation of reddit as a whole. I also hate the praise flying around for Mutant Mudds, because that game actually seems best suited for 3DS hardware and I doubt I'll buy one anytime soon.

It's like a brand new Commander Keen game!

That game looks pretty cool, they could at least port it to Android
