Apparently his studio is still under Disney's wing (bleh) and hiring:

What are your thoughts? Epic Mickey 2? Something unrelated to Disney characters? More importantly, something on PC?

BTW, didn't Epic Mickey's sales fall below expectations?

I have two buttons on my chair, "Coffe" and "Thermonuclear WAR, destroy all the hummies". The word disney trigget me repeating pressing the Thermonuclear war. After all the efforts to destroy the public domain that disney has managed to pass as laws, I have only hatred for that company and anything related. Too bad these buttons are not connected to anything, and I relax after a while.

I don't know what the expectations were, but it apparently sold over 2 million copies.

It didn't sell amazing numbers*, no. It was Wii-only and was apparently quite frustrating due to the shitty camera.

2 million is still pretty good for a 3rd-party Wii exclusive. This is bad because it gives strength to the Epic Mickey 2 possibility :(

I for one would gladly want to see Epic Mickey 2.

I'd first love to see the first Epic Mickey on the other consoles (an entirely selfish wish so I could play it too).

...Nothing since July 10, 2010. He's probably in a Disney holding chamber having "entertainment" extracted from him.

His dry husk will appear in public soon I'm sure.

I remember reading shortly after Epic Mickey was released that he wanted to make just two more games before retiring.

He should go crawling back to Richard Garriott and perhaps the two of them can make a new Ultima VI/VII again.

What's with the Disney hate? I don't know much about them beyond the cartoon movies.

I did really enjoy Epic Mickey and would love to see a sequel, which would probably be multiplatform now that Kinect and Move are out.
