Hi all, recently my GTS 250 burned out in my old gaming computer. The computer in question is an AMD X2 6000+, and it is nearly four years old. I was wondering if it would be worth it to replace the graphics card or just save up for a new system. The latter seems like the more reasonable choice, but I would consider the former if I could purchase a cheap graphics card. Any suggestions?

Depends on how much you want to spend, really, you could whack 50-100 of your American non-pounds on a graphics card which would surely out-perform your toasted old silicone (even before you fried it) or 600-1200 non-pounds on a new system that will probably keep you happy for another 2-4 years.
In fact I'm pretty sure you could whistle up a much cheaper graphics card option on Ebay (say 30ish non-pounds) to last until you've got the money for something new and shiny.
(Prices may vary, can't be bothered to look up exchange rates between pounds and non-pounds)
