I realise this goes a bit against what RPS is about - moving on from print magazines - but would it be possible for a Best Of RPS magazine/bookazine to be published? There must be hundreds of articles/reviews that could be included, and would still be a good read today. Not sure who would publish it as it would obviously go against Future's PC Gamer brand, but maybe Imagine or Dennis would be interested?

I'd buy one, but I'm biased. :)

Yeah, I'd definitely buy something like this.

It would be really awkward when a little man comes round to paste in the latest comments at the bottom of each page.

I would enjoy and purchase this. Especially if they put in the various game diaries.

An index of sorts would help. It's often very difficult to google or use RPS' search or tagging to find old articles.

I would buy one to burn it.

I'd buy one copy to read and another to frame and hang in my toilet, so my friends and family might gaze upon its mystic teachings whilst riding the porcelain bus. Or would that be a little strange?

I would love this!

I hope alot more people do too, including the RPS team themselves.

Have the very best quotes at the end of the articles?...there's an idea.

"What the fuck are all these spam comments?"

"Sorry sir, Doris at the printing house didn't catch them in time. Next month we'll send a guy out to remove them."

Heh, I'd probably buy one too. I recently discovered I could use Instapaper for more than actualy studying, and I've collated a few of the diaries into kindle friendly format. Pretty awesome way to read Gameboys from Hell. (also, each part is treated as a "Chapter" so its easy to navigate. Comments aren't included too which worried me initially.)

I think comment-less posts would probably be the best. If you want the comments, go online!

A mix of diaries, reviews, retrospectives and Strafe Left comics would be nice.

Also, bring back Strafe Left in general!

As long as it included Quinns' Fallout: New Vegas WIT.

"Best of RPS: Comment Thread Pun Trains Edition"

Also: The Worst Ninja has to be in it.

And if you (yes, YOU) haven't read The Worst Ninja then go back and read it. Immediately.

Maybe one of these compendiums like PC Gamer UK did?

This is very well worth the few bucks they're asking, by the way. I was thoroughly amused by this collection which often made me laugh out loud and parrot entire paragraphs to my ambivalent, eyerolling wife.
