So using Quinns FLGS website brought up a few clubs that people might want to investigate.

From there I got these
Free every second Sunday -Central London

And I really like the look of this one and think I'm going to give it a go.
Seem well put together with good guidelines, has weeknights and longer sessions on Sundays.
There is/is not a yearly charge of 2.50

London on Board is pretty good - it meets up at a pub in the City, so pretty convenient for anyone who works in Central London. Good range of different games played there as well - from 18xx to Euros to Ameritrash.

Ok, for RPS I am going undercover and will infiltrate tomorrow evening's shindig that London on Board are having. They are having a mercator theme night. There are about 26 people saying they are going -apparently the room holds 50sih. I'm thinking we can arrange to tag along ourselves on other nights and get our gaming going.
Oh, and someone might be bringing this :)
Boom! Shiny! Weeeee!

LoB are a really good bunch of people. I've been going six months or so, and try to make it along once every fortnight at least (but I'm temporarily commuting in from Cambridge so haven't made it for a while). Still, thoroughly recommend it and you should generally be made welcome.

Great idea, meeting in a semi public place will help with us not get murdered. Good luck!

I went. I was Not Get Murdered. I won.
Seems a friendly place and could be useful for us.
