General Bodge in his infinite wisdom has decided that the brave men of The Royal Shotgun Guards Regiment are to be deployed in a brave and daring assault in southern Chernarus. Their primary objective is to clear the way for the work shy elements of the main task force that will be proceeding to clear the coastal settlements of Chernarus.
At this time the assault team consists of an infantry platoon under the command of Lieutenant Washington will consist of three infantry sections of eight that will be led by Corporals <insert names here>.
More info to come, please give a shout if you would like to take part. It will likely be on a TT night.
EDIT: Many roles to fill but all of them will be infantry.
IT WILL BE RUNNING THIS TT!

I'd like to lead something, either a section or team leader role.
Looking forwards to this, hopefully my new headset will arrive by then, otherwise I'll be running speakers and mic.

I would like to play as well, especially it it's in the next two weeks. I m happy to follow rather than lead.

Cool i will add a list of interested leaders.
04-05-2012, 11:59 AM
Count me (stalinsghost) down as an interested automatic rifleman. Since I've not braved any manner of command role for a few months I shall relegate myself to something less shouty and more shooty.

Volunteering for Section lead.
04-05-2012, 12:06 PM
Oh if we have more volunteers than lead roles i will select them out of a hat, so don't let the over subscription of roles put you off.
04-05-2012, 12:30 PM
I'd like to lead if at all possible.
04-05-2012, 06:02 PM

I had an immense amount of fun tonight. Even though the mission was long, it didn't feel long at any point. Thanks to people involved in making the mission (except me, I'm modest), Bodge for getting it all together, Washington for commanding and everyone else for propelling bits of metal towards people at high velocities.
And special thanks for StrangLove for Alpha FTLing, and for all the new people who turned up. Hope you enjoyed it and we'll see you again!
Oh yeah, in addition to all the shoutouts, here's a couple of snaps I took. The weather was really wonderful for warfightings.

I had a lot of fun molesting unknown men last night. Thanks to everyone who designed it and to Stranglove for leading in a relaxed manner.
My only problem was that the wounded had no spazing animation, they would just lay there on their backs and yell out 'oh no!' etc, so it was really hard to spot them in the tall grass (even with the map marker).

I had lots of fun, but we need to deploy lighter MG for Ebass. Clearly he couldnt bear all the weight. http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/542926887002865905/DF47FAAD391C5A0B457104E7451E042B75C8565B/
