Do you think we should have a section devoted to AARs (after-action reports) and player stories? I know I would like to hear a few stories from games like Neptune's Pride and RPGs. What do you think?

I can only remember seeing a few AARs posted here, but all of them have been really good.
While it might start out small I would expect it would also encourage people who have things they haven't posted to start sharing them (there are at least a few people in some of the Dominions 3 games that have said they are writing something.
I'd really like one. Right now people are posting them in the Game Clubs And General Sociability forum and they get a bit lost in the shuffle.

Indeed, while I may not be interested in 20 pages of people organising their respective games for social clubs etc, I'd be interested in reading AARs.

I kept updating my sword of the stars one(before time tabling brought that game to a halt), only to find it sink to the bottom every an evening (the commentary was all in a separate thread about organising the match) meaning that it had really poor visibility.
Sure it was hardly an excellent write up, but it disappearing is very demotivating, forums as time-to-die limited things as it is.

Maybe active ARRs could become stickied and when they are done the sticky could be removed. Alternatively/in addition a stickied thread could link to all ARRs submitted and act as a kind of archive index.
A separate sub-forum would just make more sense. O Hivemind, hear our plea.

I agree. Didn't the old forum have a writer's corner sort of place where people could post AARs and articles and the like?

Agreed, a subforum would be best. Now I just need to finish mine.
