Americas' Night!

What is it? Another time to play Arma! Anyone and everyone is welcome. However the time is more amenable to those of us in the Americas.

When is it? Thursday nights 8:00PM Eastern Standard Time

What sets it apart from Tactical Tuesdays? Our turnout is a 20th of Tactical Tuesday's. What this means is that we play much smaller, less organized, and some rather odd missions.

If you are interested I recommend checking this thread the Tuesday before next weeks game for any updates.

I'd recommend you Forgotten Few (http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?116308-The-Forgotten-Few-SP-Dynamic-Campaign-Released!), a dynamic campaign for up to 12 players (or Singleplayer).

The non-addon version is great as it is (and the most straight-forward to set up) but the addon-version adds a ton of cool stuff. Fellow comrade has prepared a convenient all-in-one addon package here (https://dl.dropbox.com/u/85130/%40forgottenfew_addons.7z). Just unzip it like any other mod and add it to your modline. No need to download anything else besides the mission.

Both missions are already on the ARPS mod-server (filter for rps, it's sMODgasbord).

Whichever version you decide to play, I'd recommend that one of you hosts the game locally if you're more than 6 players as we had issues with that player count. The mission hasn't been optimized for dedicated servers so a local host should not have those problems.

This dynamic mission (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=17073) is new on the server as well as [co16] Zargmount.

Thursday, eh? Sadness. That is the day of playing pen and paper RPGs. Oh well, Folk sessions help fill the void. Yay Sunday afternoon!
