Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me no small pleasure to report...

Smells like justice.

Which site was taken down? Their .com is still up, surprisingly (the US typically seizes COM/NET/ORG domains at a whim), and so is their Twitter account.

All I see are some mildly interesting leaked IRC logs.

It was taken down briefly apparently. I must admit I find the notion of lone wolf the elusive Jester terrifying Lulzsec collective quite hilarious.

Personally looking forward to the inevitable Arron Sorkin/Dave Fincher 'The antisocial Network' movie (Jim's joke) about all of this in about 5 years time once these reprobates have all been rounded up (which is inevitable tbh). It should be amusing.

anybody else had to think of the scene (http://www.welcometothescene.com/) when reading the logs?

Seems like they've fallen on their sword. (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/6495523/50_Days_of_Lulz) They're maintaining that they only planned to go on for this amount of time. Seems like this is BS though, as you can see they've said before (http://i.imgur.com/picVC.png)that they planned to continue much longer.
Could it have something to do with the identities and personal details of the core lulzsec members being leaked (http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=iVujX4TR)? Shurely not!

Well, it was fun watching everyone in the RPS comments rage while it lasted. Its been interesting how much coverage they have been getting from the media though, the sunday papers are full of them right now.

I've quite enjoyed it. Not LulzSec's antics in themselves, of course, but the fact that the mainstream media has been covering it (and in a way that's slightly more informed than Fox News' whole "Internet Hate Machine" episode, even!). Yes. This is the 21st century science fiction promised me.

Yes - I don't condone their actions, by no means, but it's been extremely interesting to watch, and fascinating that the BBC would have near to an article a day covering the stories as they unfolded.

I'm glad this uppity douches stopped hacking everything. I sure hope they catch them someday.
