Reserved the asuran single names I wanted. Missed out on a couple of sylvari single names though. Gone in less than 20 minutes!

I'm getting Error code 42, says my firewall is being unpolite. Thing is I have not changed a single setting since the last stress test (which worked perfectly fine) and I have disabled my firewall and antivirus, and am properly configured on my router. Could it be the login servers getting smashed down to fine glittering particles?

Right got it, made a character, loaded starter area. Back to bed. :)

Logged in and created, smooth as you like. Messing about in starter area, it seems very quiet.

I manage to get one of my list of one-words for my Sylvari, so I'm happy there.

Never did get the stone for the Hall of Monuments though.

Login doesnt work.
If you manage to login, you can create your character just fine,
but when you finish you get to a black screen with "Skip All" in the lower right.

I couldnt do anything on that screen so ALT+F4. Then i had to login again (wait, wait, wait).

About 1 hour after the servers were officially open, i managed to login agian, played a while,
wanted to try out a different character (big mistake).
-> After creating that character black screen. Now i cant get in anymore.

Sad.
Sad, Arenanet does this to me. Also their forums are down... not hard to guess why.

Yeah, it seems that when you're in it's fine, but getting in is quite lucky. Still, day 1 of a MMO launch is never going to be entirely smooth.

Update: Just managed to log in and play about 5 minutes. Then a popup told me my password is wrong and i got booted out of game... :/

For hall of monuments you have to get the stone from lion's arch if it didn't spawn in your backpack. Instructions are on GW2.com FAQ. Although the npc who gives out the HoM stuff is bugged as well atm :(

Well after booting everybody out for a new build everybody is trying to log back in, login servers are probably a pile of mush at the moment.

It'll be back up soon I hope.

Guilds still not working. On the other side, I just completed Ashford plains at 100% and level 15. Also got a bit into the level 50 area past Ascalon city. Nice looking, nasty spiders.
