To avoid spamming the general screenshot thread with GW2 related pictures, here's a thread dedicated for that purpose. Grab your camera and start taking some pictures! Everything (as long as it's game related) is welcome here.

Tips:

[Print Screen] = Takes a picture. (Can be rebound in the control options)
You can also bind a key for 3D pictures but I'm afraid only a minority can actually see those properly.

Have a look at the chat to see where the picture was saved. If you forgot, then screens are generally saved to:
[Windows 7] - C:\Users\*Your User Name*\Documents\Guild Wars 2\Screens

[Control]+ [Shift] + [H] = Hides the user interface.

Bind a key for Draw Weapon for some seriously cool shots.

I thought I'd share a series of screenshots I took of what I think is the most spectacular vista I've seen so far in this game.

I've seen buildings created from giant cubes sunk into the ground, beautiful waterfalls, huge cities. Here though... here we have a hill, with some trees on it. Pretty bloody stunning, I think you'll agree.

(Seriously though, what am I missing here? It has to be more than just a hill with some tress on it.)

A few nights ago, a bunch (6-7 players) of us had fun poking around WvWvW as a small crack team, taking out unorganised groups of Jade Sea & Aurora Glade (?) invaders/defenders, raiding Dolyak caravans, and laying siege to a castle or two. Here are some shots of that night.

The [RPS] team watching a fight between forces of our two enemy groups. The idea was to swoop down at the weakened victor of the battle. In the end, the not-so-weakened victor turned on us and we ran like chicken. Like really really cool chicken.

After having breached the outer walls, we continued to try our luck at the inner defenses. We managed to get the gate down to ~25% I think, when the enemy finally woke up and distpatched a larger group of extra defenders. Not a bad result for our side however, given that the whole event started as a spontaneous idea.

Yesterday evening/night a ragtag party of adventurers stumbled through the southern reaches of Maguuma Jungle. It started with just Wolfenswan and me doing the Completion Game when we ran into Kismet who luckily decided to tag along. After a while we then encountered another fellow RPSer, Malaphar. "It's dangerous to go alone..." yadayada, four people in the group.

From there we took the fight to Mount Maelstrom, imposing scenery all around.

I was surprised how much the entrance to Sorrow's Embrace looks like Sorrow's Furnace used to. It's not identical but definitely evocative of the original and still an intimidating area. Also, very very easy to die down there.

My new mesmer, Folly Mockwood. The only race that I'm having trouble creating are humans! I've remade my two human characters several times over now... never happy with them. :/

The thing is that armors fits perfectly on them. Even if armors looks way better on other races than in any other MMO I played. (I still love my Asura warrior but I wish i could see his armor more clearly, bigger races appeal to me just for that... )

It took me a good couple hours to complete that puzzle with the bomb still in hand and the chest was empty for me too (I even raised a bug about it and posted on the forums but got no response), most iritating. Still it felt like quite an achievement to get that puzzle done. Definitely the hardest so far.

Lovely chokepoint that tunnel is. The large group of bastards in the room behind this deathtrap can be avoided though (by hugging the right wall and jumping on the walkway), if anyone ever wants to do this again.

Haha, this doesn't happen to be Nidhogg's group, or is it? We did the same thing yesterday, trying to lure a thief that was following us to jump down the cliff. Sadly, he didn't (but he then got attacked by a patrol of Minotaurs, good enough). It's a shame that the cloak field has a limit in people that turn invisible.

It's hard to find axes that don't look tiny on an Asura, but my heart sank when I found this model since I had previously vowed not to go back to TA. But apart from a couple of exceptions, I've been pretty lucky with pugs -- and the up path, especially, can be done in less than half an hour if you get it right.
