Now in public beta for anyone who bought through Steam: details here (http://www.grimrock.net/2012/09/12/we-need-your-help/). Short version: in Steam, right-click the game, Properties, Betas tab, opt-in. (If it doesn't update you might need to delete ClientRegistry.blob and restart Steam). They reckon the release version will be available soon for all users.

And now I'll have to go back and actually finish the original campaign.

How is the game? I bought it on the summer sale but haven't had chance to try it yet. I saw this video done with the level editor though, it's kinda funny:

I have it through GOG, any word on the editor for the likes of me?

From the announcement:

If you don’t have the game installed on Steam and would still like to help us, you can give us valuable feedback on the documentation (http://www.grimrock.net/modding/) and perhaps help by working on the model and animation exporters (http://www.grimrock.net/modding/model-and-animation-file-formats/) if that’s your cup of tea. We are also listening to feature requests about the scripting interface (http://www.grimrock.net/modding/scripting-reference/). Are there important functions missing? We know that many of you would just want to start using the editor right away, and we too are very eager to finally release this beast. So our intention is to keep the beta short and sweet and release the editor as soon as possible.

So nothing concrete, just "soon".

Although, it is apparently going to support the Steam Workshop, so I am gonna wait for a sale and grab it on Steam. Skyrim and the Steam Workshop reminded me just how much I hate going through a Nexus site, forums, and various user-sites to find my Fireball Throwing Cliffracers.

Scratch that, apparently I got it on Steam at some point

G (http://grimrock.nexusmods.com/)rimrock Nexus is online (http://grimrock.nexusmods.com/), with Grimrock being supported by the Nexus Mod Manager. I don't know about Steam Workshop support.
The Beta is nearing an end (http://www.grimrock.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3462) as well.
