The designer and writer of Betrayal at Krondor is contemplating a spiritual successor, however without the R.E.Feist's world, Midkemia.
He probes the public interest with an online petition.

Earlier this year I chatted both with John Cutter, the original producer and my co-designer, and of course Raymond E. Feist who owns the universe in which Krondor was set. Unfortunately Midkemia is tied up for the foreseeable future, but there's really nothing that prevents us from creating another Krondor-like game with the same great gameplay, the same great storytelling, and with the same creative team behind the original.

Sounds good. I just wish he allows the player to at least create the protagonist (and possibly the whole party) this time. This is the one thing that pisses me off about Betrayal at Krondor, because otherwise it's a very decent game.

I clicked on this thread with fervent gusto. I would like such a game, yes!
Disagree on being able to create the whole party, as I quite liked some of them; but would not mind being able customize my starter callow youth.

Also, if someone wants to write Thiful's Bird Migrations, I will read that.
