Hi all,

There's 20 or so of us regularly playing DOTA games, both 5v5 matches and 5vPublic matches. We range from total beginners to people with 400+ hours. This group is distinct from the other DOTA groups because it's small, intimate and we're strictly looking only for people who want to have fun. We want people who won't take the game too seriously, who will be friendly and help out other players who don't do too well rather than getting angry at them.

Everyone in the group knows each other well and we organise several matches a day, you will regularly be invited into these games rather than being left for anonymous which can tend to be a problem in larger groups. Feel free to send any of the other members (especially me) a message saying that you're from the group and asking if they'd like a match.

We use the RPS community mumble, the details are on the steam page. I just set up the steam page a few minutes ago for us so it should fill up over the next couple of days:

If you are totally new to the game and looking for a similar atmosphere but with an emphasis on learning and teaching some of the basics then you might want to try out the Rock, DOTA, noob group (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/rockdotanoob).

The core RPS DOTA2 group is here (http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/forums/showthread.php?5745-Rock-Paper-Dota2) if you want to try that out too.
