Has this competition been judged? Did anyone win?

No, it hasn't actually been judged. My fault, I'll fix it early next week and post the winners.

Hi, who won this competition? Or has it not been judged yet?

You totally missed an opportunity to blame Quinns here.

Same goes for horseying with Mount and Blade, which hasn't been resolved also.

They set homework, we spend hours of drinking/gaming time devising rhymes for "dragon" or alternatives to "Shadowtrots", and do they mark it? No, they just sit there in RPS HQ on velvet cushions bitching about the latest electronic pastimes.

So, Jim, any luck?

Has the great limeranking happened yet? Do we get to read the best? Or are they all too terrible to publish on RPS?

So this is still dragging on I guess? Any ETA on clearing up all these unresolved compos?

11-08-2011, 07:03 PM
Yeah, I was wondering when they were going be announcing these. I just entered the Limbo compo too. Oh, well.

I demand Judgement! Lest I be forced to break rule 7. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/rps-compo-rules/

Sorry, I forgot about this entirely. These were the winning limericks:

It's been told that a man with a sword,
One who's strong, wears a thong, and is bored,
Can take lots of money,
Prehaps find a honey,
In the cave that belongs to the horde.

There was once a demon melancholical
Who kept dungeons quite diabolical!
Those who his way did wend,
He wished but to befriend,
Would that he not burn them in acid vitriolical.

There once was a goblin called Frank
He lived in a hole, and he stank
Then a hero did come
For some sword-swinging fun
and decapitated his family with no regard for the rich cultural traditions of the goblin people.

The authors have received their prizes.

Them's some fine limericks. Congrats to the winners.

Congrats to winners, but Jim, there once was another compo that has not yet been judged also, I believe: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/07/01/win-mount-blade-with-fire-sword/
