I can't currently play Dragon Age Origins (Ultimate) on steam, because it appears to be stuck in a download that the "Steam servers can't handle". Anyone else had this problem?

Have you turned it off and turned it back on? (steam, then computer)

Might be worth deleting client blob in the steam directory also, as that often sorts out issues. ,

Clientbob? Does that pose any risks? Thanks though

No risks, just kills all of the local versions of your account details, just prompts steam(the app) to reaquire them from the servers.
