I got a lot more Laibach-vibe, but then again, Laibach influenced Rammstein a ton.

Yeah maybe, never heard of Laibach. Just the beginning that was almost identical to Engel, but I see that has been "discussed" to death on youtube already.

Since The Haunted is now missing both a vocalist and a drummer it's quite unlikely they'll be coming back as they were. Time to listen for some of their older material.

After Ray Phillips and Tony Bourge left Budgie they formed Tredegar and just caught the tail-end of the NWOBHM period. They got some of their mates from Cloven Hoof and Persian Risk in on the deal too, put out an album and a single and that's all we heard from them. It's a good album too.
nice post ya'll. here's something for the doom fans

More doom, or grunge if you will. I fuckin' love that first Obsessed album so so much I could cry. Even more than Born Too Late which is the gold standard for doom as far as I see it.
Oh to hell with it, let's have another one shall we.

Dont say Acid King isn't atleast slightly doom man=) then again, i'd never say uncle acid & the deadbeats or acid king is straight up doom like Candlemass or similar.
Anyway, EW is good stuff. Spacewalk: that band was completely new to me, fuck yeah=D
And for something completely different but swanö level awesomeness:

(I'd put Acid King pretty solidly in the "stoner rock" category, for the record, and Electric Wizard somewhere in the middle)
