I'm reunited with my gaming rig and would like to join the FUN again. How are the FF these days?
Good, there's always a leader in a group actually.
I can't seem to connect to the mumble server (first attempt), i get a repeating message telling me the remote host closed the connection. Anyhow im on the Miller PS2 server, i'll try and find some of you in game if i can
fun times, I'll try and be back on next week
NC only available weapon info spreadsheet.

Original information from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...SUVxLWc&gid=12
Weapons set by type and then alphabetic for easier search. I don't know some values, but most are pretty clear.
A suggestion for next Freedom Friday. If we go after two locations then please split mumble up in two channels. It is kinda frustrating to hear, tanks incoming from the west and there is nothing. Especially in an amp station or other large facility, as it takes a long time to get from one side to the other. And letīs be honest, we are free and rather vocale people. :P
We actually shouldn't split, until we have more than 3 full squads anyways.
so I have decided to abandon the purple Vanu folk, we just don't get along with each other.
NC is the way to go. So here is me. New Recruit and all. Where do I signup?
Emm, same as Vanu probably, get into mumble and ask for invite.
I agree that we ought to stick together if we're 2 squads or less - but I did like the idea of spreading us evenly and have squad A concentrate on point A, B on B and C on C. As long as it's the same facility, it works okay.
Yes, that's mostly okay on squad separation in one location is fine by me, I am more concerned about spreading thin on different parts on the continent than a base.
However, as much as I like the idea of Alfa to A, Beta to B, Charlie to C and Delta to D (and there is sometimes D), more than that, I'd like to see such structure: Alfa creates defensive positions near spawn point, to stop any enemies of getting out and Beta insures point capping and Charlie helps out with perimeter defenses, point securing and spawn camp and objective elimination.
All these squads would change their roles on every next base in offensive formation. In defensive I'm not sure we need more than 2 designated roles: enemy armor/air and transport elimination and tactical objective defense and reparation.
Of course combat is a fluid thing and we need to adapt on the fly to everything, but so we could play with a little bit more efficiency, we should know some base role of our squad.
It sounds serious talk maybe, but please note I just want more enjoyment from a game so if everything goes wrong, everybody knows what to do.
On the other note, I'll be trying some flash bombing tactics later on today. Can I get a nutty gal pilot as a volunteer for that?
I agree and disagree.
I think having a setup like that would be great and add an extra element to the game that we don't often have.
On the other hand, it would require a lot of fairly tedious pre-arranging squads etc - everyone would need to know what squad they were in, what their job was, and most importantly, would have to stick to it. It might also involve having enforced classes, which I don't like.
Yeah, that's class requirements I don't really want to add in. And honestly, I thought of this just from leader perspective. SL of in rare ocasions PL just should order this way a bit, not that we should pre-arrange anything, just when you ask to do something, name people or squad and hope they react to it :)
Might be interesting to run a strict discipline op sometime. Personally I don't think it would be as fun as what we normally do, but we could try it and see what happens. Even with only 10-12 people you could split into fireteams for a bit of flexibility.
bagsy squad 1 medic!
just realised if we wanna get more organised and stuff does this mean we get ranks?
You really want to be called private vanstrak?
