The campaign in Dawn of War and Winter Assault are both more story driving. The one in Dark Crusade is like playing a game of Risk. I enjoyed both, but if you want to hear a story as opposed to make up your own, Dawn of War. If you want your own, Dark Crusade.
Plus in DC you get to play as Necrons which is always a win!
Am I wrong in thinking that the Dawn of War in the bundle is only the original, without any of expansions? It seems like the 'Game of the Year' version has some extra maps and stuff, but that's all.

What the hell have you been playing? DOW2 is like Company of Heroes on crack. It's faster, more intense, and you get ripped apart for your mistakes easier. "DotA style" is something you clearly don't understand. It doesn't have lanes or creeps, but it does have map control.Quote:

3v3 in a Map Control game where dominate control wins. Sounds a lot like DOTA or LOL to me. Obviously minus the creep. I'd also argue is does have lanes as most of the maps I remember playing you could split into 3 lanes.
I've not played company of heros so I can't draw a comparison to it so I'll draw a comparison to the closest game I've played.
