Setting PL (and SLs?) as priority speakers seemed to be useful... can subchannels be set to priority or anything clever like that?
strange
Update for stratgir nights
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Last time, I ended up using a token for every SL and me, and every squad lead made themselves a separate temp folder.
Love you for this, thanks for taking the time. Soooo o oo o oo o much easier
Thanks for the guide! I've set my Mumble up in preparation for Thursday.
Also: Purple, yay!
Also, twice: Isn't "balloon" actually spelled with two l's? Sorry to be nagging about small details like this, but I'll just be bothered about it every time I see it in the future... :)
What? It's clearly spelt correctly. Just log into Mumble and have a look.
You might wanna head to the opticians; it's possible you're suffering from a rare form of Associative visual agnosia for the second 'l' in words spelled with two 'l's
(Also: Thanks, spelling corrected now, but I ain't gonna re-create those screenshots)
Yeah, thanks for taking the time with this, I've set things up as well if I'm chosen for SL duty.

Add more channels to your command whisper
I've updated the posts with the new Barney channel changes.
I keep meaning to run a fast-response gal drop team. I'll try to do this soon to try out the new "Special Giraffes" setup alongside the usual 'everyone in the same platoon chat channel' setup.
Ummm... I think I broke something with mumble, when i tried to connect today I was told i have the wrong password for a registered user. But I never got a password?
Edit: Right, seems i managed to loose my certificate file when i killed my windows install...
Did someone else register with the same name?
That's a common problem with mumble I never found the solution to. I'm sure there is a better one, but you have the choice to either rename yourself (wardancer1 or whatever) or to ask the host to remove your previous registered name.
Doesn't matter if you got a pass or not, it just does that for registered users.
Yeh, i just changed my name... just never had that happen to me before.
Bumping to the front page, possibly needs a sticky.
Question to BLs & SLs.
Would you like a separate "shout" shortcut that was just StratGir and then another that crossed all command channels (Platoon 1, StraGir, SpecOps & the upcoming "friendly commanders" channel). Or would, as we have now, a single shout to all commanders suffice?
(ie.: BLs: Is it gonna get too confusing to have to juggle four PTT keys: Squad, StartGir Command, All command and Platoon shout?)
Im going to split my shouting to different squads as well, not entire squads, just the SLs, so any more keys is going to need a manual.
The way Ive got it set up now is that my current shout to SL also shouts to platoon 1 SL and special platoon SL. This just makes me hear more clutter (if everyone shouts to all SLs ever), which is shit when Im trying to lead a squad.
Ooh, I do think it might be a bit much. I'd rather have a few extra bindings for PTT to friendly commanders etc bound to the same key as the regular command chat, and just disable them when not in use. Others may orefer an extra key though, I guess.
