Sorry I vanished, I've not been well. I'll remove my application as I'm not reliable enough to commit to this at the minute.
Dungeonmans on road?

I think it was being unable to see or be seen by the other person in the lobby, but it was a while ago so it's pretty hazy.
I put myself on the spreadsheet as a new player. Haven't entered my...

I'd like to have another go at joining. As I recall I had connection problems last time, so probably best if someone hits me up for a friendly to check it out first. I am in the RPS Steam group, if...

I had really good fun playing Blood Bowl against the computer last night. Maybe I should rejoin an RPS league.

You make potions by collecting plants and crafting them. You can get a silver sword, but I can't remember whether it's a quest reward, you can score it at merchants, or both.

You beat the LoD too?
Interesting that you should mention a poison deck, as this is now the way I'm going nearly all the time. Far less risk of running into something you can't scratch.

I think you do need to acquire a card or two, just so you can get far enough to be able to lose them - Monk starts with pretty low damage. I've tried a couple of times but couldn't get below 4 - they...

the last card I bought was the one where every damage you do goes into a shield. I did a monster uber combo using all these cards and I had a 80 damage shield, it was awesome !
That's like the...

Well, now I'm puzzled. Just defeated the floor 3 boss for the first time (Assassin with tons of poison, Overloads and Storm Shape is a nice combo), but instead of going on to the lord of Dream...

Showed this to a friend who's having a rough time - I got her into DCSS and figured that this tighter game would be even more appealing, and so it proved.
Over the weekend my play seems to have...

I know I'm not the only RPSer who's fallen for this infernally addictive card-collecting roguelike(like). It is simply and tightly structured - three floors of increasing size and difficulty, plus...
I've mentioned Dream Quest on the 'What are you playing' thread, so it would be remiss not to here. Card-collecting, deck-building game that lends itself to quick sessions but is also so moreish that...

The Bestiary section actually looks fantastic, it's really really nice. This is as much fun as when I first encountered Card Hunter, and being a roguelike it's super replayable. It's not at all...

I hate estate agents.
I rent in London.
Finding loop holes in property law to evict someone from there beloved home for a fat capitalist Landlord to muscle in and create "luxury flats" is alittle...

Cheers, I'll bear that in mind. I have Win7, but I still have problems with some GOG games.

Think I might pick that Voyager up, the Syberia games seem worth a look. Any opinions on the others?
Depth Hunter 2 is a fairly casual, relaxing underwater mooch with lots of pretty tropical fish...

I like C:DDA, though not as much as NMorgan. I've never tried playing it that far in though. It's very survival-based, you need to ensure your basic needs ahead of anything else. If you're on board...

I bought exactly those two. Nidhogg is five minute fun that makes me chuckle, good sounds and queasy 'nuked' graphics but the gameplay criticism from other posters rings true after only a brief time...

Seeing Nidhogg at under 3 quid, I thought "this could be fun with a friend". Fun in single player too! The movement, sound and visuals make this really appealing, though I do have a tendency to get...

I'm a confirmed DCSS head; I think I've spent more time playing it than any paid game bar Football Manager. It manages to be sprawling and random while cutting down on clutter (you can't sell loot,...
CK2 DLC is cheap on Gamersgate. If I bought some there, would I be able to apply it to my Steam copy of the game?

Still Salt. It's still fascinating, though I'm more inclined to start new worlds than pursue one. Getting attacked makes me jump.
I'm also trying again to get beyond the very early game of Distant...

I'm playing Salt, having a whale of a time. Tranquil and relaxing in the daytime, mysterious and slightly spooky at night. Cruising around on a raft at night time is the best, approaching a pirate...
