I finished Homefront yesterday, and oh wow was that an incredibly mediocre game.

It didn't do itself any favours when the game set itself up for a huge setpiece battle, which then segued...

Turning VSync to "blit" fixes the flickering for me, although if I have a notification or some other pop-up appear that'll usually causes some flickering for as long as it appears.

A million times this - I'd fully upgraded the reload speed, clip size, rocket speed and rate of fire in my last few games. If you can get a kritzkrieg medic chum you're basically firing a huge wall...
