I feel like a kid again. This month is Mad Max, Terminator and Jurassic Park. Where is my Aliens movie?
Oh, and Avengers, but that doesn't count cos it's all newfangled.
A quick google reveals that actually Google Keyboard seems to be one of the best for reducing lag and lowering memory use. I think they've improved it a lot. Maybe I'll try it out even though I've...
Ooh. I was looking for something like that for android a while back, but didn't find much interesting and went for something basic like ccleaner. This looks like just what I wanted.
It's interesting to note that Letters from Iwo Jima was more popular in the west, but Flags of our Fathers was more popular in Japan. I think people were drawn to seeing the other side of the...
The Karl Urban one is much better, but in some ways the Stallone one is closer to the Dredd comics. At least the early ones.
They have a bit of gritty, but they're also pretty random and crazy.
That chase scene would have been great, if it wasn't against remote control cars. (dumb idea undermines good point. story of that movie). Props to Arnie for returning his salary to fund the chase...
Thank you! I spent most of the movie trying to figure that out, and also half the other names, and then the other half of the movie wondering if my hearing was going..
I think some asshole on...

In addition to getting lost in Unreal, I'm also playing The Stanley Parable.
It's not what I expected. I played and loved the demo. I expected the full game to be an expended version of the demo,...

They may indeed make games for developers, or for journalists. Or niche art games. But I think we need to have a few people making those kind of games, so I don't think gaming would benefit if they...
Would this be friendly for people who
(a) have never really managed to get anywhere with the singleplayer game due to general incompetence, and
(b) who don't have much free time and would just...

Thanks for the quick primer. If and when I finish the other 11 games I'm trying to play and head back to terraria, I'll refer to it.
My main issue was the UI (horrendously confusing) and the very...

I only tend to double tap when I'm trying to inch my way to the edge of a platform, or position myself precisely.. at which point I find I've launched myself into oblivion.
I think I'll turn it off.

Oh, I wasn't worried about it being off platform.... I've just been vaguely toying with the idea of trying some of the old PS exclusives that I missed on some emulator on PC... but I've never really...

I'm gonna see it through. I only dodge by accident.. I think I should turn it off.
My main issue is that a lot of the levels are very confusing... mainly due to repeating...

I haven't actually played or bought one of their games, but I have of course heard of them because they get a lot of coverage (for indie games).
I'm perplexed by this, although I haven't been...

You may be right. I think, for me, the world needs to be somewhat interactive, or there needs to be some sense of purpose to it. It's maybe not that procedural open world survival games can't do...

Still playing Unreal.
I just met the Mercenaries and the game suddenly kicked it up a gear and got good. Phases so far:
Phase 0 - Why is it running at 3 fps? Why is it stuck in a 800x600...

Really? That explains it. They do it pretty well then.
That said, I was basically zoomed out all the time, so it was effectively like shogun. Still, I only had 2 hours with it, so I probably only...
That film was amazing on the big screen... the scale and sound of the subs..
After a few decades of epic cgi movies, I wonder if it'd still have the same effect these days.
True love waits...
