Had a run around Zolder in the M1 again tonight - trying to decide if I prefer it in this or PCars and they're not making the decision easy.
RRE sounds better and feels nimbler but the AI are a...

Missing the point by a mile (unless the point was just to have-a-go - which I realise is quite likely) - given that other games perform 'much the same' between the HDD and SSD but DA:I doesn't.
and tools like SteamMover will do this for you (they're not just for Steam games, they'll move a folder and then make a link to it for ANY folder which isn't protected)
Not entirely sure you can...

My thinking too - pay us more to have the option of moving a button ;0
I just watched a few pieces about the G29 and I was a BIT gobsmacked tbh.
From what I can see they've remove the gearstick (it's a cost option), added 'DFGT' buttons to the wheel (taken from the...

The Razer controller also only allowed the 'extra' buttons to double-up existing buttons (e.g. you could assign ABXY etc. to them) - not sure on this, but a LOT of games only support the standard...

Getting back to the 'Elite' XBONE controller - it's now available for pre-order.
Lowest I've seen is £99.97 = most places are asking £110+
For a CONTROLLER
p.s. I note that Razer beat them...

"Every 3 hours or so"
and every time you save/quit/come back to it of course.
That said, in the first hour I'm pretty sure I went through a couple of loads - there's quite a bit goes-on in that...
I don't think it's a great idea to run it indefinitely - it dilutes the concept - and I guess tiers like the trip to a race will have to disappear at some point as the trip will have taken place?

I started-off in Time Clickers but it felt a bit flatter - it's clearly been copied (using the engine/graphics from Time Rifters - which is quite fun!) tho
Tap Titans is probably better than both...
OK, I caved - what now ;0
So - Ferrari tried turning it off and on again
That's my trick!! When I do it, it usually works tho - think I should apply
"Senior Ferrari Turnitoffandonagainer"

I'm still on ADSL2 - abeit that I'm close to the exchange so I get the max (a little over 6Gb/hour) - I've not really felt the need for more download but I'd LOVE more upload (300-350Mb/hour is no...

Mostly a bit pointless tbh - a small improvement in some very specific scenarios - mostly for laptops and generally surpassed with a min-onboard SSD/HDD combo - never really made sense for desktops.
26-07-2015, 04:58 PM
Note: I don't throw SSDs away, generally they either
a - become a spare drive
b - go into a laptop
c - get used as a 'live' boot drive backup (swap straight in, in case of disaster)
26-07-2015, 03:28 PM
Much as I'm kinda on-board with SSDs now - most games don't actually see that much of an improvement yet and I'll take being able to afford to keep anything I might want to play installed over having...

Please GOD send help - I've never wanted my mouse to stop working more than I do now ;0
Seriously, can't.... reach........... close..........................
26-07-2015, 02:46 PM
But the key point I'm making is
"Look - here's a game which really does benefit from an SSD - properly benefit - not just a bit, but a lot!!"
It really is the first time I've played a game (or,...

Yup - always - a heads-up for people too, Steam no longer optimises it's own games, you DO need to defrag Steam games now - DA:I isn't one tho, so...
I once waited 40 mins for The Hobbit to...
Codemasters DLC content has this knack of being interesting but a bit half-arsed and far from essential. The F1 Classics are interesting to drive - less interesting to race perhaps.
But then the...

Another game which has been irking me in loading times is 'The Crew' so I just bumped DA:I from my SSD and ran a quick test for that
Loading screen appears after 59 seconds

It's not-so-much what they had in-mind as the reality of the thing - DA:I is the first game I've played in EONS where I thought "it's crashed" pretty much every time it went to load something - and...

I'm probably a BIT late tho this, but I've been playing the DA:Inq demo and it's pretty obvious that it absolutely demands you install it (all 30Gb of it) onto an SSD
Loading times from an HDD are...
So that's NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Master, Mega, Saturn, Dreamcast, PSX, PS2, PS3, XBOX (and more) you've missed?!!
That's like saying "I've not read any books by anyone with 2 vowels in their...
In case anyone's never noticed, Raceroom saves everything you've ever done (pretty much) as a replay
This can take-up some diskspace - 700Mb in my case - hit the camera icon and go nuts with the...
