Yes -- I've been noticing recently that I hardly ever see the ghost as I'm generally racing to the exit. Taking more time would make for fewer errors and more $$$.
It really is nice to see gradual...
Aberlour. Aberlour all the way. Warm and peaty.
edited to add: WHY IS THERE ICE IN YOUR WHISKY, OP? YOU CLEARLY DO NOT APPRECIATE WHISKY!

I'm still pretty addicted to the Vita version. I can somewhat reliably make it to the jungle now, and see the ice caves every now and then. I'm still 100% rubbish at it though!
On PC, I'm playing...

The only time a game has made me sniffy was Beyond Good and Evil, when Jade returns to the lighthouse and all of the children have been taken away. The conversation with her dog is really nicely...
Hmm, looking at my music, the only things from this year are the new Haxan Cloak record, which is pretty good, the new My Bloody Valentine, which didn't really do it for me despite basically being...

Crap! I got Papo & Yo too! Indiegamestand, iirc.

I realised that this is a complete lie. I bought Gone Home.

I bought nothing. NOTHING!
Though I'm a bit disappointed that I missed Papers, Please and was sorely tempted by Dust: An Elysian Tale, which I'll probably pick up in the next Steam sale.
Oh hey, I missed the MonsterTalk recommendation. That sounds great -- thanks for the tip!
Fixed that one. I don't have the mad skills necessary to kill a shopkeeper yet, unless I somehow manage to make one kill himself. :)
One I just discovered through Mrs Jams: Sawbones
The setup is that a man and wife, one a surgeon and the other a layman pick a medical history topic and talk about it for half an hour. It's funny...
I'm pretty new to it -- I picked it up on my Vita a week or so ago. So far the best I've done is get to the last floor of the jungle, but I'm kind of slowly getting the hang of it. I hope.

Ah well, I'm only in the middle of episode two, so maybe I should stick with it.

FINALLY, after bouncing off the free version years ago, and after declining to get the HD version on Steam because I don't think it's the kind of game I'd want to sit down at a PC for, I'm getting...

That's exactly it. It's like a comic book on your TV: it's not trying to be highbrow or clever -- it's just fun.
re: the "block" button, it only blocks things for you.

Started Walking Dead in my quest to play at least some of the games in my giant backlog before I let myself buy any new ones. So far, so kind of into it but wishing there wasn't an awful stuttering...

Giving this a wee bump because it was lost in moderation queue limbo for a couple of weeks.
I used to love Zorn's Masada project. Dave Douglas' trumpet work was stellar.
I rediscovered my love of J-Rock band Luna Sea and have been bingeing on their stuff. The great thing about listening to songs in a language you don't know is that you're not confronted by the fact...

Basically, I want a Vita. However, I also want to find a good deal on one because I'm a cheapskate.
I'm also lazy. So I want a website I can subscribe to for personalised deal notifications for...

Finally got round to finishing XCOM. Its anticlimactic ending was made even worse by a camera glitch, so instead of ending cutscenes interspersed with an in-game view of one of my guys using an alien...

You should try watching Fistful of Dollars while Yojimbo is fresh in your mind. It's startling how close the movies are -- almost shot-for-shot.
