All too true balmark... all too true. Sadly.
Concerning Loadout: I tried it for a while and it seems to be fun. It does lack some tactical gameplay though and it seems I can't do...
I think it's time we moved over to the sociability section, but just in case someone only visits this thread I'll copypaste this here:

A lot o people complained about it being hard to hit targets in this game. I found this thread over at the official forums, haven'T had time to check it out, but I wouldn't be surprised if following...

Well, Generals is a whole different story than the Tiberium universe. The game is obviously based on the original Renegade which was based on C&C 1: Tiberium Conflict. That didn't have airstrikes,...

Hotwiggly and Hotwire showing Nod how it is done!
We had so much fun, didn't we? Honestly, I love it that this game has all these glitches still, makes for so...
Can't give any garantuees to show up jeppe. Tbh, I think I'm finally burned out on NS2.
Titanfall just got the movement right. I loved how, after a couple of hours of practicing, you are able to...
I didn't notice an increase in load time. But considering Sydneys/Raveshaws are a little easier to use now (aim down the sights zooms in on the target) they might have nerfed them a little in that...
Depends on which vehicle. Sydneys are great against stealth tanks (longer range than their rockets) and are decent against infantry as well. I think they are worht it.
Great video, informative and funny! One thing you forgot to mention, seeing it is not directly about the units but it is crucuial for playing the demolition infantry classes right: you do more...
I stick to TPS too, makes orientation much easier. I don't know about iron sights, I can't seem to hit a thing with it; I stick to TPS in any case :)
Stealth Black Hand + Nuklear Beacon seems a...
I was busy mostly on Sundays and Thursdays as of late. I do still play NS2 occasionally but my interest has slackened. After two years it is time to move on, even though I have heaps of fond memories...
Having only played around 2 hours I can say that the pacing is much faster than it used to be. You die fairly easily, even as a high priced character. Something about the game feels a little too...
Done. Sorry, I was in a rush when I made the thread.
Oh happy day!!!
Go and get it here:
I will be on as soon as I have the time. Anyone up for a game tomorrow evening?
Here's an older...

Gothic was one of the best looking games back in the day (a bit clunky, but the viewing distance was unrivaled). Gothic 3 was on par with TES Oblivion, even outperfoming it in some areas. Considering...

Where are you situated guitarxe? Because over here in Central Europe there are still plenty of NS2 servers during prime time and on the weekends. Maybe one or two combat servers out of 20-30 isn't...

By the looks of it, I will likely buy it the day it releases. I only wanted to peek in, to get a feel of the game and ended up staying up till 1AM two workdays in a row...

Concerning the AI, Jockie spoke my mind:
I was skeptical at the beginning, but I'm starting to really like the concept and feel of the AI in this game. I'm still having trouble discerning them...
the 263 beta build just went live: http://unknownworlds.com/ns2/beta-build-263-now-available/
and it includes some really awesome changes and fixes like:
Added ammo bars for the...

Still can't get away from Natural Selection 2, even after more than two years and 600 hours of playing. I've tried EVERYTHING! I tried to get into new stuff, Primal Carnage, Loadout, Insurgency to...
This thread makes me nostalgic!
Most of my all-time favorite obscure games have been mentioned already.
Not really obscure when you live in Central or Eastern Europe. The Gothic series...
