Thanks all for the advice.
Thanks for the info - can I assume that an install disc I have from a different machine will work as long as the code's correct?
Hello all.
My wife's laptop PC is so thoroughly full of nonsense and bunkum that we have decide to clean re-install her OS (Vista) over a full format of the system drive. I have a disc for Vista...
I second Unaco's points.
I have also just acquired a couple of Arma 3 Lite Steam invites for those who want to try it out. PM for gifting.
Edit: Not currently available - apologies.
Well, as an occasional blagger of free games on this here thread I feel the need to stand up for 'alms', a man (or woman) that I don't know in any real capacity, but who has been unswervingly polite...
This is quite a cathartic thread, isn't it? I agree with your points about Assassin's Creed as well. The desperation for it to be a movie franchise in-waiting was all too apparent, leaving the gamey...
With hundreds of other games to play, I must confess that the Clancy brand is somewhat akin to 'Jeffrey Archer's Prostitute Bribeathon' in its likelihood of being purchased by me.
Another guilty vote for failing to endure with Deus Ex. Baldur's Gate 2 (despite enjoying the first one) lost me before I made it to sunlight.
A particular personal failure, however, was my...
Another blast from the past. A download code for Explodemon (from one o' them Bundles) for anyone that wants a bit of 2.5D action. PM me and it's yours.
Edit: Gone
Enjoy your new system - especially if you haven't treated yourself in a while. Although self-build has much to be recommended, there are few pleasures to compare with unpacking a box with a shiny PC...
Well goodness me - this one's going back a bit. I've discovered a non-Steam key for Frozen Synapse (from one of the Bundles ages ago) that I haven't used. Presuming it still works (I think it does)...
I don't have any games to give away, so here, for 'alms' is my favourite sandwich recipe that I can give you to submit (game to alms if it should be agreeable to the OP).
Wholemeal softgrain bread...
Yeah once you go two-screen you can never go back.
Thank you.
I've only tried two multiplayer sessions of XCom (and got my arse kicked both times) but that game works, in my opinion, far better (MP and single player) with a pad than mousey-mousey.
Thanks for the advice - will disable. I think I'm correct in assuming that it'll make it no less secure than Windows XP is/was?
You'd be forgiven for thinking that this question has fallen through a wormhole from 2007, but...
I've recently been gifted a nice PC that has Windows Vista Home Premium (64bit) installed. Don't...
Where do you live? I know a pretty good independent shop in Glasgow if that's any use.
Yeah I'd like to know as well if anyone's successfully used an XBox controller with it.
If you PM me - I'm really rubbish at having virtual friends. Shy.
And - thank you very much. Am broke and love my games.
TT
I'd been holding out for a truly expensive game before publicly debasing myself on this thread, where I was intending to write something long and grovelling about my supposed enduring love for the...
The sheer amount of (quality) content that Nathan Grayson's put out deserves recognition.
Thanks for the comprehensive reply. I'll save The Witcher until I've enjoyed all the other goodies I managed to blag over the last few days.
I sold a nice guitar a few weeks ago and put aside...
Whit!?! You mean I was just giving them away to you bunch o' losers?!?
