Zero. Worst it could do is downgrade the DMA level if your drive struggles to read securom disks at full pelt. That's a software flag and can be reset very simply. Even starforce didn't physically...
Plants Vs Zombies. It even sounds a bit like elevator music.
Mask of the Betrayer (NWN2 expansion) is far superior to the original campaign. Planescape: Torment, obviously. Baldur's Gate is great, but not a huge variation between play-throughs/character...
Pledge. Free if you have it hanging around anyway, couple of quid if not. Makes your desk at least as good as a mouse pad.
Well you've diagnosed it correctly. They should work, but unless someone has tested it, you can't know for sure. Pop an email to Asus and they might be able to help - last time I had the same query...
Better than life
I'm talking about buying an extra nVidia card for use with PhysX. nVidia encourage it, but only if you already own nVidia. If your graphics are Intel or AMD you're out of luck.
What's the physics engine in Diablo 3? I never get bored of shooting arrows through stone columns as it's very well done.
I would be all for PhysX if only I didn't believe they would deliberately...
Then isn't it counter-intuitive to demand lower prices after a period of time from publishers who are selling to other retailers? If you were to demand higher prices (which they do for digital...
But why would they care about lowering the price of a game if they don't even stock it?
Today's PC game pricing is still determined by brick and mortar stores? I find that very hard to believe given that most brick and mortar stores don't even stock PC games these days.
Distributed...
Well you could stop reading RPS or other gaming sites whose purpose is to talk about video games ;)
Yes that was the reason for any pre-orders for me 10-15 years ago - local stores wouldn't get many copies in - sometimes the only way to get a game was to pre-order it and then they put a stock order...
No. Amazon seem to honour prices if there's no stocking issue, and in fact will match the lowest price the game hits from them any time before release, all the while not taking payment until...
I agree for the most part, but it depends on the studio. Blizzard titles for example seem not to follow that at all. Someone still owes me a hat-eating following the StarCraft 2 release prices which...
Yes.

Could be. Can't say I've seen the option to pre-purchase anything yet.
How does that tie up with the reality though? In my most recent case for example: pre-ordering Diablo 3 from Amazon. Not only does this cost a lot less than release price (~£15 saving), I don't even...
Minecraft X360 edition?
I like the WoW player who felt he had to correct someone's spelling of fanbois.. :p
Gah! Exceptions don't prove rules! The testability for an exception proves a rule (assuming the test doesn't find one).
Well to be fair, they do say it's not counting Steam and possibly other online distributions, but that does mean it's pretty meaningless when discussing best selling PC games.
Yes, 30 million,...
I don't see Peggle on the list for one thing. Should be at or near the top.
I think it was in support of Mugabe. After all, only presidents know how to be president, right?
