I just got lucky on a defense mission and made an attacking Discoverer Raider bail. Sold it for 65000 credits (my net worth was 1000) and treated my Buster to some engine tuning, a shiny scanner and...
I've been playing with X3: Albion Prelude, which just arrived on Linux.
I couldn't figure out what I was doing for a while (the "tutorial" is, er... unforgiving) so I pulled up a Youtube getting...
The irony of this thread is that the Minecraft server requires ridiculous amounts of RAM.
I'd like to know, too. I absolutely loved the original Settlers but didn't get round to playing Settlers 2, but heard good things about it.
The GOG comments seem to confirm the Anniversary edition...
I enjoyed the setting of Honest Hearts. The story was somewhat bland, but exploring a national park was quite a lot of fun.
Old World Blues crashed on load for me (probably one of my mods) so I...
Holy moly. The 840 Pro is a quality drive.
If I still lived in the UK I'd be buying several of those.
I don't know what any of this means, yet, but it sounds awesome!
I dropped the difficulty from Hard to Easy on the last fight.
I was doing pretty well on Hard but then the designers decided to break the cardinal sin of FPS at the last minute: endlessly...
The most fun to be had in MMOs (or any competitive game, for that matter) is often at the high end. While that time investment can certainly deliver on the promised enjoyment, you've ultimately...
Couldn't wait for the weekend to try Bioshock Infinite, after hearing the positive reviews.
I've barely started the game but I'm already blown away by the visuals. The detail is immense. I have a...
That's... comprehensive!
Only thing I can add is I still get a lot of mileage out of the FXAA Injector (works with Skyrim, FO:NV, among other games) instead of the ENB Shaders. It's a little...
I just upgraded to a GTX 670 (holy balls, maxed out modded Skryim is smooth) and got a free code for $50 in-game currency in each of Planetside 2, World of Tanks and Hawken.
Not much use to me,...
Taking some 25 or 40mm (incendiary for extra fun) to that building from a vantage point evokes a special kind of satisfaction.
I think the enjoyment I derive from RPGs is a little unusual.
All the "new school" TES and Fallout games have given me hundreds of hours of fun, yet I barely pay attention to the story in any of...
I gave The Witcher 2 a shot, but became about as bored with it as the first game. That's probably some sort of cardinal sin around here, so forgive my poor taste.
Just beginning my first ever pure...
At least be sure to play up to Kick The Hornet's Nest, or you're missing out on one of the best missions to feature in a game.
Also, if you hate the story for the same reasons as me, you'll love...
That Steam Bioshock Infinite preorder deal looks like it'll never reach the XCom unlock. It shifted all of 2% in the second tier today.
Shame, I could use a free copy of XCom. Better deals...
It was patched into the game quite early on. You don't need to do anything more.
The DLC unlocks everything for free. There isn't an easy way to turn it off without messing with the game files.
Still one of my all-time favorite adventures, despite its flaws.
I finished Dishonored, which has been my go-to game for the past couple months. It's had enough praise already, so I'll just say that I enjoyed it.
Next on my list is Witcher 2, which I picked up...
I just noticed Half Life appear on the Steam for Linux list.
I think a whole bunch of Source games are about to go on my replay agenda. :D
I backed DF Adventure and got a nice t-shirt and some entertaining videos from one of my old favorite developers.
Probably get a decent adventure game thrown in for free. Don't regret it at all!
There were so many levels like that in QC, I can't even think which one you're referring to. Had a blast in that game.
Still pootering along in Dishonored. Got all the stealth-related level 2...
I'm beginning to feel less bad about being behind on games (barely 1/3rd way through Dishonored).
I still have to finish DS1 and DS2. By the time I get around to DS3 I can pick up the GOTY in a...
My faves:
Portal (+2)
Fallout 3 (+NV)
Skyrim
EVE Online
