I've had an email from Green Man Gaming saying that I've been given two free games for pre-ordering Bioshock Infinite.

They've given me Bioshock 1, and the choice of Bioshock 2, Civ V, Darkness...

I'm going to try something similar but not quite so extreme - maybe nothing that costs more than £10 until the next sale. I've got pretty addicted to Planetside 2 and I've bought Bioshock Infinite...

My Mrs is addicted to Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 at the moment. I'm going to try Civ next (not sure whether to start her on 4 or 5 - 5 is probably more accessible?

Really enjoyed holding the bridge by the impact crater until the rest of the armoured column turned up, I never thought we would survive.

To be honest, I don't know if these settings have had much effect because I was too dozy to benchmark it beforehand. Still, it looks shiny and smooth so that'll do for me.

I did a test this morning and it seems to be working......ok-ish. I had the UI error as normal but a quick language change sorted that, but it now crashes when I click certain options in the menus. ...

I've had to uninstall the game, re-installing now. Had a CTD and after that it wouldn't get past the launcher, just crashed to a "Planetside 2 has failed to launch" message. Tried all I could think...

Thanks - I've changed the PSU to an Antec 620. It adds a bit more to the cost but better to be safe than sorry with power, I suppose.

Any downsides with this build?
