Same happened to me. I didn't even know what I had done, at first, so I just ventured deeper into the canyons and ran into camps that insta-aggroed on me so I killed them all. Broken the entire story...

If you use the Orb on Pandamonium it is destroyed. The conclave will still be there (presumably relocated) but the actual PoP will be gone. This effectively makes it impossible for any other players...
