And that's Splinter Cell: Conviction. Certainly a lot different than the other games, but still good on it's own. I didn't have a problem with the story, except Lambert's fate. But hey, what can you...
@Heliocentric
Yeah, this game is definitely different. More of a stealth-action kinda game. Batman with guns! The gameplay is solid though in my opinion, even though it's linear.
Finished Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory last week, and finished Splinter Cell: Double Agent earlier today. Chaos Theory was wonderful, but the story was pretty much "meh". In comparison, Double Agent...
When I met my fiancée she mostly played simple flash games on the net, but I gradually introduced her "better" games. She really loves puzzle games (Puzzle Quest 1 and 2, Bejewelled, Zuma, Peggle...)...
Still on a break from The Witcher, now playing Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory for the first time. This game is an incredible advancement from the original Splinter Cell (never played Pandora Tomorrow)....
And that's Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy done!
Played it back in the day, and wanted to relive it. Got a taste for it when me and my fiancée started watching all the Star Wars movies together a couple...
Thanks for the tips! I think I might make a purchase then! :D
Does anybody know if good old Jedi Academy on steam works on Windows 7 64 bit? Those older games on steam are a bit fiddly at times and I don't want to waste money on something that doesn't work...
Actually.... No. All the talk about Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3 made me interested in the games, and luckily Steam had a Witcher sale that same week, so I bought the first one to try it out. I...
Currently playing through The Witcher. Just arrived at the second chapter and killed the cockatrice together with the paladin. The second chapter seems even more interesting than chapter 1. Sure,...
I always found Devil May Cry 3's ending credits very cool. After the final cutscene Dante is ambushed by demons and you get to kill them during the playable credits. I believe the first boss of the...
How about X3: Terran Conflict? When choosing the Humble Merchant start, you only get a short (optional) flight school tutorial, that shows you how to navigate with the ships. But halfway through it,...
The discussions in the articles on the main page are really weird sometimes... In the original post about the teaser trailer, Nathan wrote:
Which mostly seems like a throwaway joke about the...
What would that game be about? Responding to emails about vengeance? ;)
Well, I was nowhere near having that unlocked, but I finally managed to beat the game using the second sniper rifle. Took down the interceptor in two shots!!!
It was really weird this time again....
So, I've reached the Temple HQ after siding with Mentor. That place is freaking hard!!! I get killed every few seconds, and my minigun seems to be the only weapon that works. I died 10 times and ran...
Thanks for the answers everyone! This game is really a mixed bag. I just finished Mars and I've barely managed to research stuff or for that matter level up my cyberware. The backstory is quite...
I know this is a really old thread, but I have a question that make my google-skills seem lacking...
How many missions are there in a single playthrough? I cannot find a single post on the web...
GOG:
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri - $2.99 (they finally added Alien Crossfire, and I want a digital backup if my CD with the Planetary Pack...
Let's Necro!!! So, how did it go for everyone? Did anyone manage one year without new games?
Started up Borderlands. But I don't think I have any chance of finishing it this month...
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine done!
There are some really cool parts to this game, and also some really horrifying gameplay. Gettting swarmed by enemies and killed, only to start over at a checkpoint...
Well, there are certain parts of it that were quite cool. The jetpack is definitely a cool addition. Reminds me a lot of the Tribes series, except that you could only fly for a really short distance...
