On an 'optional' mission in Dishonored I found myself considering the implications to the gameworld if i carried out the task presented to me. As such I actually stopped what I had set out to do, as...

You know what i'm liking best about Dishonored? The World building.
Don't get me wrong, I love blinking across the cityscapes and choke-holding ALL the police. But my favorite moments have been...

The Last Resident Evil I played was the second on the PS1, but my friend convinced me to buy Resident Evil 6 this for co-op funtimes. Looks like it'll be a blast!
In other news, Dishonored is a...

9 dead. 32 injured. 20 jobs. $13,000. I've had better weeks.
They don't let me name names on this blog, but the person behind the hit I was investigating is probably being picked up by the East...

Fancied a bit of Shmup-ing last night so i booted up Syder Arcade. Its a really very pretty, competent title, that sadly suffers from some game-breaking bugs. Its fun, but to save yourself...

F.E.A.R. Is a classic, still holds up, gunplay is spot on and its kinda creepy. As story driven FPSs go its one...

I usually play the commander actually, I've spec'd him to be whirling death machine. I really suck at RTS, so I have to fool myself into thinking i'm playing an ARPG, to many lil guys running...

As above excited to see how Dreamfall Chapters ends up. I was at Rezzed a couple of years ago where Ragnar was giving a talk and it looked interesting.

Monkey Island? hell even Borderlands!
Speaking of Pirates, I'm still playing Risen 2, which although not a GREAT pirate game, has enough voodoo, swashbuckling and treasure hunting to keep it...
Always loved this!

Bought a Monkey in Risen 2 and used it to rob a storehouse. Then ran around town as everyone doted on it. Everyone loves my Monkey even if it is obviously a malevolent, larcenous little imp.

20 hours into Risen 2: Dark Waters and I’ve just chosen to side with the natives and steal a ship. Because, Pirates. Creepy body-swapping Voodoo possession powers have turned this already silly RPG...
Last month Kentucky Route Zero 1-3 with the 2 online mini acts just blew me away completely. Strong contender for favorite game EVER if they keep this up in 4 & 5

With the frenzy that was the steam sale over and my compulsive involvement with the current marketing meta finished it seems i've played a craptonne of games over the past week or so.
Race The Sun...

A N T I C H A M B E R was 2013s GOTY for me. Its brilliant, but the first opening magical hours are the best as you’re still trying to adjust to the mind fuckery the game throws at you. Do explore in...

Been playing a craptonne of Space Hulk. Its just like the boardgame, execpt i don't have to bribe the missus into it or clean all those frikkin tiles up after a crushing defeat.
Oh and you can't...

I've never been able to get through the Heavy Squad DLC from the Factions Pack (On Ranger), its a right pain in the backside. Just replay the last mission of the main game, its more fun.

Have you tried running the GeForce experience on Metro: Last light? It worked a treat for me.
Over the past week me and another RPS'r have completed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. As far as...

I've just finished Metro:Last light and am now playing the DLC. I can say yes it is more consistent and better paced, but does suffer from more of the "modern" shooter problems such as taking control...
